Juniper Pluggable Optics ZenPack
Creates components for Juniper pluggable optics modules. Graphs Optical Power Receive, Optical Power Transmit, Laser current and Temperature. Models and collects data either with SNMP or SSH.

Background
Modeling with SSH will only run if zCommandProtocol is ssh and if zCommandUser and zCommandPassword are set.
Installation
Normal Installation (packaged egg)
- Download the appropriate egg file for the version of Zenoss you are running.
- Ensure you are logged in as the zenoss user:
$ sudo su - zenoss
- Install the ZenPack:
$ zenpack --install ZenPacks.community.JuniperPluggableOptics-*.egg
- Restart these services:
$ zenoss restart
Developer Mode Installation
In order to do a development mode installation you will want to clone the existing git repository, and then use the --link flag with the zenpack command:
- Ensure you are logged in as the zenoss user:
$ sudo su - zenoss
- Start by cloning the upstream repository:
$ git clone https://github.com/kb8u/ZenPacks.community.JuniperPluggableOptics.git
- Next, perform the installation:
$ zenpack --link --install ZenPacks.community.JuniperPluggableOptics
- Finally, restart these serivices:
$ zenoss restart
